Steve started singing at the age of 10 and was performing on ABC's "The Children's Hour" as well as NBC's variety show "Star Time." Eventually Steve joined the Larry Elgart Orchestra and toured all over the US and Canada and performed regularly at the famous Riverboat in the Empire State Building.
