An Evening with Gary Puckett & The Union Gap

Beginning with “Woman, Woman” in 1967, Gary Puckett & the Union Gap’s first 5 releases went gold and he went on to sell more records in 1968 than any other recording act - including The Beatles. On the strength of “Young Girl”, “This Girl is a Woman Now”, “Lady Willpower” and “Over You”, he toured the world, performed at the White House for royalty and appeared on more than 50 television shows and specials. His 2001 PBS television appearance still airs to this day. The show will open up with Motown favorites, The Shades of Blue ("Oh How Happy"). Presented by Scotty Productions in association with Pop, Rock & Doo Wopp Live!

During Ambrosia’s early recording history they garnered 5 Grammy Nominations, received frequent radio airplay, and gained the admiration and respect of the musical community – in addition to their sold out concerts around the world. Ambrosia achieved 5 Top 40 hit singles on Warner Bros. Records, released between 1975 and 1980, including “How Much I Feel” and “Biggest Part of Me”. In 2015 the group released a new single, “Hopes and Dreams”, which was featured on the series called The Sparrows that aired on the Fox television channel. As of 2017, the new Ambrosia material keeps coming.

The Gilmour Project

The Gilmour Project continues in 2023, scheduling 50 shows to celebrate the March 15, 1973, US release of Pink Floyd’s masterwork, ‘The Dark Side of The Moon.’ There are Pink Floyd tribute bands … and then there is The Gilmour Project. The 5-piece, All-Star ensemble (Jeff Pavar, Kasim Sulton, Prairie Prince, Mark Karan & Scott Guberman), quickly gained a reputation for flipping the ‘Tribute Band’ script on its head, with exploratory performances of iconic and deep cut Pink Floyd classics, David Gilmour-centric and solo compositions, and pulling other surprise classic rock masterpieces out of their hats.

With 15 albums of outstanding songwriting and performances, The Atlanta Rhythm Section represents the good things the phrase “classic rock” implies.  Pure Prairie League - Best known for their iconic #1 hit “Amie,” Top 10 hits “Two Lane Highway,” “Let Me Love You Tonight,” “I’ll Fix Your Flat Tire Merle” and “Early Mornin’ Riser,” along with their classic Norman Rockwell inspired cowboy album covers, PPL bridged the gap between country and rock.
