Andrew Wos

Andrew was introduced to playing a musical instrument at a young age when his father taught him to play the accordion.  While that instrument was fun, he was always interested in the organ and the wide variety of sounds it could produce. He had a small collection of organ records and tapes that he would listen to regularly. All that changed when his parents brought him to experience his first live organ concert at the Riviera Theatre to hear Father Jim Miller in concert on the Mighty Wurlitzer. He then began attending organ concerts regularly and obtained a small electronic organ he taught himself to play it at home. Andrew began volunteering regularly at the Riviera and had the opportunity to both work on maintaining and playing the organ as well as running Saturday movies on the vintage carbon arc lamp projectors. He has presented concerts at the Riviera, the Lockport Theatre Organ Society and the New York State Fair in addition to providing musical accompaniment for a feature length silent film at Shea’s Buffalo. His concerts include a wide variety of music from modern pop songs to traditional theatre organ standards. His wife Shelley is an organist and music teacher. His son Collin is learning to play trombone and daughter Nora is studying dance.

Dan Pisarcik

Dan started learning the organ at 9 years old and first played at the Riviera at age 12. He has been actively involved with playing organ and piano for multiple churches over the years. Outside of music, he holds a master’s degree in statistics and works as a data analyst for Highmark BlueCross BlueShield.
