A Letter from Our Executive Director
Our entire staff sends their well wishes and hope that you are all practicing safe social distancing and are in good health. Collectively we’re all looking forward to the day when we can get together again and celebrate live music.
We’ve been very busy behind the scenes rescheduling postponed concert dates. We really appreciate the patience you have shown during this pandemic crisis. We’re doing our best to work from home and try to keep you updated of these changes through our website and social media. We’re optimistic that we will be able to return to work on a limited basis in a few weeks.
Once our box office opens we will be able to field phone calls and help answer any questions that you have about future shows and ticket exchanges. Again, we anticipate a ton of phone calls and hope you understand that we will do our best to address your concerns on an individual basis. Please keep in mind that we have rescheduled dozens of shows and the call volume will be excessive at first. Please continue to watch our website for an announcement of when we will be open for business again.
If your concert was rescheduled, it is our hope that you will be able to attend the new scheduled date. Tickets issued for the original date will be honored for the new date and you don’t have to do anything as far as a ticket exchange. If you are unable to attend the new scheduled date, we will work with you to exchange the tickets for another show of your choosing. Some of you are obviously wondering about refunds. The Riviera is a not for profit Theatre and relies on your continued patronage to help keep the doors open. Most of our early ticket revenue gets paid out to the artists as a deposit to hold the date for the scheduled concert. Any onslaught of refunds would decimate the Riviera and jeopardize what we have been building over the past few years. We feature 120 shows a year (when there isn’t a pandemic) and enjoy the concert experience as much as you do. Your continued support is appreciated and valued so we can continue to bring you top entertainment when this all passes.

Once we have a confirmation of when we can do live events again we will add some very special concert announcements. You’re not going to want to miss who we’ve booked in the future.
